Rules for granting honorary patronage by PSRP 

Basic information

  1. The patronage of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland (hereinafter referred to as the patronage) is a special distinction for an undertaking directly related to student activity.
  2. Patronage may be granted to an initiative of student, university or youth organizations, as well as initiatives of informal student groups that have a positive impact on the student community. Other organizations may apply for patronage, provided that the theme of the organized event/project falls within the broadly understood student or youth theme. 
  3. The initiative referred to in section 2 should be at least inter-university in scope. 
  4. The patronage of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland cannot be granted to an initiative of an entertainment and integration nature only. 
  5. In the case of cyclical initiatives, patronage is granted for one edition each time. 
  6. The Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland may refuse to grant patronage without specifying the reasons for the refusal. Refusal of patronage is final.
  7. The decision to grant patronage is made by the President of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland. 
  8. In special cases, the President of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland may withdraw the patronage, about which the organizer is immediately informed in electronic form. Withdrawal of patronage imposes an obligation on the organizer to immediately cease using the granted patronage, including the cessation of using the logotype of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland. 

Procedure for granting patronage

  1. In order to grant patronage, you must complete and submit the completed form available on the website www.psrp.org.pl/patronat-psrp/ 
  2. Within 10 working days of submitting the application, the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland will submit the decision regarding the refusal or acceptance of the initiative under the Honorary Patronage. 
  3. The party applying for patronage is obliged to use the signs and symbols of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland coming only from the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland. 
  4. Submission of the application referred to in section 1 means that the party applying for patronage has read the Regulations and accepts its provisions. 
  5. The party applying for patronage declares that the data contained in the application are true and lawful.

Elements of cooperation under the patronage proposed by PSRP

  1. In the case of granting patronage, the organizer of the event is obliged to: 
  • placing the logotype of the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland on materials promoting the event/project; 
  • providing participants of the conference with materials on the Students’ Parliament and events organized with the participation of the Students’ Parliament; 
  • posting on the website of the event/project or the organizer, information about the granting of patronage by the Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland; 
  • inclusion of materials from the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland in post-conference publications and delivery of these publications to the office of the Parliament of Students of the Republic of Poland; 
  • providing the organizer with photographic documentation of the event/project, as well as other materials, such as posters, leaflets or brochures. 
  1. The Students’ Parliament of the Republic of Poland reserves the right to have its representative participate in each project covered by the patronage.
